Counter Balance Forklift

COUNTER BALANCE

Counterbalance forklifts , often referred to as counterbalance forklift trucks function similarly to a crane. Their name comes from the built-in counterweight located at the rear of the vehicle, which helps stabilize the load carried by the front forks. This weight system enables the forklift to lift and transport heavier items safely. Because of this added stability, counterbalance forklifts are commonly used for demanding material-handling tasks. They are available with sit-down or stand-up operator cabins and are frequently seen in warehouses, loading docks, and other industrial environments.

Reach Forklift

REACH FORKLIFT

Reach forklifts are specially built for narrow-aisle operations commonly found in warehouses. They feature two front support legs that help stabilize the load, along with a single set of rear wheels positioned beneath the operator. This wheel placement gives the machine a much tighter turning radius, making it easier to maneuver in confined spaces while still being able to access higher storage racks. Designing warehouse aisles to be taller and narrower is an effective way to increase storage capacity when space becomes limited.

Dock Stocker

DOCK STOCKER

Dock stockers are stand-up electric counterbalanced forklifts designed for fast trailer unloading and for moving pallets to staging areas. From there, sit-down counterbalance forklifts or reach trucks can lift those pallets onto racks or transport them to their next destination. A dock stocker is essentially a counterbalanced lift truck that allows the operator to work either in a standing or seated position. Like traditional counterbalance forklifts, it uses a rear-mounted weight system that offsets the load carried on the front forks, ensuring stability during operation.

Walkie Electric Pallet Truck

WALKIE RIDER PALLET

Often referred to as Electric Pallet Trucks, walkies are built for the operator to walk behind the unit while guiding it. Since they are fully motorized, they can lift heavier pallet loads, move efficiently through tight areas, and handle pallet transport with greater ease. The operator controls the lift through a hand throttle, which allows smooth forward and backward movement, along with quick stopping when needed. Walkies come in several versions, including models with a standing platform for the operator. There are also Double Walkie trucks, equipped with longer forks that enable the movement of two pallets at the same time.

ORDER PICKER

An order picker is a warehouse employee responsible for selecting products from storage racks to complete customer orders. They use tools such as handheld scanners or printed pick lists to locate the right items, making sure each product is accurate before it moves on to packing and shipping. Many large warehouses also use automated order-picking systems, including robotic units, to boost speed and efficiency. Whether done by a person or a machine, order picking plays a crucial role in industries like retail and e-commerce by ensuring quick, precise order fulfillment.
